Conclusion: We should be the same even in sufferings/pressure.

Why: (BKC) As believers suffer, they develop steadfastness; that quality deepens their character; and a deepened, tested character results in hope (i.e., confidence) because they saw that God see them through in this sufferings and gave Him all this. He would do the same in the future in the end time.

This kind of hope of the future will not be disappointed because of the assurance of our future salvation.

This hope is brought about by enduring of sufferings v.4-6. If there is no suffering, then we will not have hope. If we do not think about our hope which is assured by the love of God. Our past present salvation will not be relevant to us.

In these past couple months, my pressure was at all time high. All the arguments in the co-workers' meeting, discouragement, sickness, injury, and amount of work. On one hand, I pray that I grow through this experience and become more like Christ. On the other hand, I am amazed at how much I see God loves me by letting me read very relevant passages in exact time when I needed it most.
