Repeated words
1. v.11-13 Did evil by worshipping the Baals, abandoned the LORD...they followed other gods, they worshiped them and made the LORD angry...they abandoned the LORD and worshiped Baal and Ashtoreths.
As far as our God, when you worship other idols you have abandoned the LORD and make Him angry. This is evil.
2. v.14-15 Their worship made the LORD angry and thus He handed them over (x2) to robbers who plundered them and to their enemies who attacked them.
As the people of God the LORD was against them and did them harm. As a result, they suffered greatly. Wouldn't they ask themselves, why?
Reflection: What choice I have made for myself? Either God is my number #1 or He is not. When I suffer will I examine what evil I have done to make God angry at me?
