Deuteronomy 34:1-6

 Ob and In:

1. The LORD showed Moses the whole land and then He said, "this is the land I promised to Ab, Is, and J..."
Why did God remind Moses that He is faithful to the patriarchs?

2. I have let you see it, but you will not cross over there.  v.4

Why did God let Moses see if He was not allow to cross over? Is see better for Moses?

3. Moses had sinned against God, but he was still being called, the servant of the LORD. God took care of His servant and buried him v.5.

Reflection:

(1)  I think to Moses, he was able to see his task being completed. That was a gift from God to him. He had sinned, and was punished by not able to cross over. However, God still gave him the honor of being the servant of God.

Thank God that since the beginning of summer, I have no rest. As the end of August approaching I thank God for completion of the work that can be done. A sense of completion is a gift from God.

(2) God will take care of His own servant. What kind of care to be buried by God? I do not need to be afraid to have no one to take care of me.
