Deuteronomy 33:26-29

 Ob and In:

Repeated words:

1. God is majestic, no one can compare v.26a,b

2. God's help to them is eternal v.27a,b

3. Goodness of the LORD to Israel:  v.29 You have joy, Israel! Who is like you? 

helper v.26, refuge v.27, arms underneath you v.27, driven out and destroy her enemies v.27, made them lives in safety v.28, be their water sources so that they could have agricultural  abundance v.28, made them joy v.29, delivered them v.29, be their protector v.29 and their weapon v.29. 

Reflection: Do I know God and His goodness to me? Who He is and what He has done gave His people the un comparable joy and security. If I long for security this is the best kind of security. 

4. What does the arms underneath them mean?

(EBC) arms were beneath them to keep them from harm, discouragement, and failure...The promise that God would go before Israel to conquer the land has always in it the participation of the people in obedience to the Lord’s commands, but that participation is always to be understood as effective only as the Lord works with them and through them.

Reflection: Do I obey God and doing His will? If yes, then there is guarantee success. Why not obey God?

Am I discouraged, and frustrated today with failure?
