(1) v. 1 But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and domestic animals that were with him in the ark.
(EBC) While those in the ark may have been safe, they had not yet been saved. The author does not finish his story until Noah and his family are back on dry ground (v.14).
(2) Repeated phrase: the waters receded v.1, 3, 5
God did not just saved Noah from the flooding, He also helped them to start a new life. Land was steadily back to "normal." The living condition of the earth was back again just like the 3rd day of creation. The dry land appeared!
Reflection: (1) We can trust in God Who do not just saved us from judgment or everyday trouble, He prepared a way for us to live. (2) Judgement was under God's control. He set the limit and turned things back to normal again when His plan was accomplished. We can trust God when we are under trouble.
