Psalm 105:24-45

From yesterday sharing from v.1-23, we see that there were many recordings of what God has done. The purpose for the recalling is in v.45     105:45 so that they might keep his commands

    and obey his laws.
    Praise the LORD!

From v.24-45, we will look at the details of what God has done that trigger the obedience and praise to God in v.45.

(1) v.24-27 God was behind the increasing in numbers of Israelites, the hatred of Egyptians because of their increasing numbers, the calling of Moses and Aaron to lead them out of Egypt, and the executing of His judgement.
Have you felt like God has raised problems in your lives? If yes, we can be sure that God will also provide solutions to the problems.

(2) v.28-36 God was behind the 10 plagues and the language the psalmist used emphasized that it was easy for Him to do so ("He ordered flies to come... He ordered locusts to come..." in Hebrews, “he spoke and flies came”...“he spoke and locusts came..." v.31,34)  and there was no escape for them ("Their land was overrun by frogs, which even got into the rooms of their kings v.30, invaded their whole territory v.31, broke the trees throughout their territory v.33, ate all the vegetation v.35, v.36 all the firstborn in their land)
God's power is beyond measure. He has enough power to make His promise to His people to be fulfilled. When do we doubt His power or His faithfulness? When we panic because of difficult situations?

(3) v.37-44 God's provision to Israel was beyond imagination. The Egyptians would give them gold and silver?? The food came from the sky?? Rock was open to given them water?? Israelites would take possession of what other peoples had produced??
What God has given us is beyond what we deserved. Just like how He provided the Israelites we were given many blessings during the pandemic beyond what we deserved. Do you agree?
