Overview (Kel-Ps):
Psalm 100 is to be classified as a hymn, perhaps a short entry hymn sung by the worshipers preparing to enter the sanctuary and offer their praise.
I. The psalmist exhorts the people to serve the LORD with gladness because he made them and provides for them (1–3).
A. Call to praise: People everywhere should serve the LORD with gladness (1–2).
B. Cause for praise: They should praise him because he is God, because he made them, and because he cares for them (3).
II. The psalmist exhorts the congregation to enter his courts with thanksgiving because he is good and faithful (4–5).
A. Call to praise: Worshipers should enter his courts with thanksgiving and praise (4).
B. Cause for praise: They should praise him because he is good and because he is faithful to his covenant people (5).
Reflection: The psalmist focused on 2 kinds of relationship: The first one is more general between the Creator and His creature v.1-3. The psalmist called us to praise God with joy! Do you ever praise God with a joyful emotion just thinking about His creation?

The second one described someone who has a longer experience with God. They know that God is "loyal love," "faithful" and therefore they want to give Him "thanksgiving." In order to do that we need to reflect. Have you experienced the loyal love of God last year? In what matter you see that God is faithful to you and your family? This is a time for us to give God our thanksgiving.
