Eph 2:1-3
Observation:
The tense here are past tense.
Repeated them are: dead in (transgression and sins) v 1, in which ... V..2 , ruler of the air, energizing the sons of disobedience v2. The effect of sins and Satan were all over us, both external and internal. We were trapped. Also in v.3 our own flesh and mind gave us the craving, the desires that ended up sin against God. By nature we were children of wrath (of God).
Sharing: we were so trapped on sins. No one want to go back there. However, Christians will give in to sins and we have to the freedom and we chose sin. This passage reminds us how wrong it is.
