The heart of progressive sanctification is a life that is empowered and led by the Holy Spirit (Ro 8:11, 14). Our sanctification is not motivated by fear (Ro 8:15). In fact, God promises us that the same group of people Hr calls will be the same group who will be glorified eventually (Ro 8:30). No one will lose his salvation. Our motivation is our love to God (Ro 8:35). We are eager for His coming because we are His sons (Ro 8:23).
