Faithfulness is the ultimate test of a God’s servant. It means we won’t evaluate our service by how people see us or how we feel about ourselves (1 Co 4:3). Faithfulness means we won’t bring people to ourselves to the Lord (4:6). It is why God’s servant can withstand persecution and hardship. And because of the faithfulness of Timothy, Paul can send him to Corinth knowing that Timothy will preach God’s Word faithfully. Are you a faithful servant that our Lord can trust you in any circumstances?

Timothy lives a way of life which agrees with Paul's teaching (1 Co 4:17). When I taught the teens I want to have a live that agrees with my teaching. Last night we talked about loving the brothers and sisters is a test of our salvation (1 John 2:10). Therefore, I pray for them and want to have the hearts to truly love them.
