What is the controlling factor of your life? The Israelites are controlling by their evil desires (1 Cor 10:6). They turn their natural needs such as sex, thirstiness and tiredness into sexual immorality and grumbles (1 Cor 10:8-10). On the other hand, Paul’s controlling factor in his life is totally different. He is controlled by love – seeking benefits for others (1 Cor 10:24). This is not only his philosophy of his life, he also asks us to follow his example (1 Cor 10:33-11:1).
