In the whole story, we can see God’s hand is behind in every turn. The Jews are determined to kill Paul but Paul’s nephew heard that. How can the Jews so careless in plotting such a secret assassination? And the Tribune protects Paul just because Paul is a Roman citizen.
Acts 23:11 catches my attention. This message is not delivered by an angel but by Jesus our Lord. Our Lord cares for us. He will stand beside us when we are in great danger for His sake. And He will not let any one to harm us if He decides not to.

In Acts 23:11 the Lord told Paul that he would testified for Him in Rome. Then the passage mentions about the plot to kill Paul. These 2 incidents are related. Their plot was known eventually by the commander and he sent Paul to Casesarea. Paul eventually makes it to Rome through these kinds of trails and he uses the opportunities to testify for the Lord. The hand of the Lord is behind history. People want to make harm to us but they are under the control of the Lord. Maybe we do not like the way it works (for Paul he has to be in prison all the time), but they are all under the control of the Lord.

Paul has been in prison many times. This time he was in there for at least two years. How many books has he written during that time and what are they?
Thanks.
Julia
Ephesians, Colossians, Philippian, Philemon were traditionally believed written when Paul was in Rome (61-62 AD).
Then 2 Tim was written when Paul was once again jailed in 67 AD before he died.
