Acts 19

Because the believers in Ephesus grow in the Lord, in Acts 19:18-19, they are eventually convicted and willing to burn books on magic arts which cost them “millions of dollars” (New Living Translation). One of my problem in sanctification is I am not willing to get rid of my old habits and old collections. It could be music, movies, comic books, etc. I know I will not use them any more because they are not good for Christians but I don’t want to throw them away. They cost me a lot to buy them in the beginning and I can still sell them in EBay. But the believers in Ephesus understand if it is not good for a Christian, it won’t be good for any one. Eventually, I learn to follow the way of the believers in Ephesus.
