Matt 22

What does “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind” mean? It means we have no reservation when we love God. Abraham showed this love when he sacrificed Isaac.
What does “You shall love your neighbor as yourself” mean? Love does not mean we feel good about every one because sometime we don’t feel good about ourselves but we still love ourselves. Love means we are doing things for the benefit for that person. When we love ourselves, we take good care of ourselves.

The parable of two sons (Matthew 21:28-32), the parable of the tenants (Matthew 21:33-46), and the parable of the wedding banquet (22:1-14) are all related to the question that the chief priests and the elders ask Jesus, "By what authority are you doing these things? (Matthew 21:23). Jesus repeats that they do not repent and He will give the kingdom to another generation. In the last parable, He also adds that even the next generation to whom the kingdom is offered again, they also need to go through the selection process (Matthew 22:11-13). God did want to offer His kingdom, however, man shall be prepared, too. When I see the rage of the king who destroyed the first generation (Matthew 22:7) I know that He is a justice God. He will not see the injustice that I go through everyday in my life and do not do anything. Second, I see seriousness of His invitation. Even though the next generation are invited to "fill" the seats they have the same requirement of dress codes. Are we serious to see our spiritual matters?
