How do you prepare youreself for Christmas? One of the important lessons taught the disciples when they grew together is being humble. The "sin" He mentions in Matthew 18:7 follows immediately the problem of pride. Jesus taught them the drastic approach which is almost the same as he had taught them before in Matthew 5:29-30. Why do we need to be so serious about being humble? Because pride will kill our unity. We are all important in the eyes of our Lord (Matthew 18:10-14). Even if anyone sins against you you should go all the way to bring him/her back (Matthew 18:15-20). Why? Becasue our Lord forgives us just the same way (Matthew 18:21-35). Jesus mentions specifically that we should forgive our brother from our heart (v.35). Is your heart prepared for this Christmas?
