What is the basis of the faith of the gentile woman? (21-28) She was ignored by Jesus (23); rejected by the disciple (23); turned down by Jesus (24) [Notice Jesus’ answer indicating the Kingdom is primarily for Israel at this moment]; humiliated by Jesus (27). Nothing could stop her from pleading. It was her understanding of God’s mercy overcame all these difficulties. How much we know about God determine how we will pray before Him.
