Nahum 1
No one wants to be the foes of the Lord (v.2-6). No one can withstand his anger. Twice Nahum points out that the Nineveh has plot against the Lord (v.9, 11). When? Their end is not pretty. "Whatever they plot against the Lord he will bring to an end; trouble will not come a second time (v.9)." It just takes one blow from the Lord and they are tossed. From v.12-15, Nahum hints that the Nineveh plot against the Lord when they gathered together with their allies to invade Judah. When others plot against the nation Judah, they plot against the Lord! The same is true today.
