God calls for the response of Israel. "My people, what have I done to you? How have I burdened you? Answer me (v.3)." Why they become so sinful? God has laid good examples for them. "...that you may know the righteous acts of the Lord ( v.5)." But they follow the ways of whom? "You have observed the statues of Omri and all the practices of Ahab's house (v.16)." Those are the most wicked kings in Israel. They worship the pagan gods.
In the recent history of the US presidency, whom are remembered most by the people. Kennedy? Clinton? Why do people like them? Do they do go and morally sound?
