Micah 4
Watch the time that Micah writes this book. In 1:1, "The word of the Lord that came to Micah of Moresheth during the reigns of Jotham, Ahaz and Hexekiah, kings of Judah." In other words, it is written during the time of the Nothern kingdom captivity by Assyria. However, Micah prophezies the captivity of the Southern kingdom by the Babylonians (4:10). Babylon is only a small power during that time. Prophecy in the Bible is amazing! Therefore, we can have be sure that the rest of the prophecy is also true. God's temple will be raised again, many people will go there, they want to learn the Words of God, and there is no more war (v.1-5). For those of us who are Christians are we looking forward to those days? Do we want to learn the Words of God?
