Minor Prophet

Jonah 4
Twice the Lord asked Jonah, "Have you any right to be angry (v.4, 9)?" Jonah is mad about the compasssionate of the Lord in v.1-3. When the Lord asked him about the ownership of the Ninevieh Jonah could not say anything. Obviously the Ninevieh belongs to the Lord. He has compassionate about them Jonah cannot argue that. Then he is mad about the lose of his head covering vine in v.5-8. The vine does not belong to Jonah, yet he is mad when it dies.  Jonah cannot enjoy it anymore. When we lost something that is belong to us we will grieve. Even something that is not belong to us, only that thing brings us some benefits we feel lost when they no longer there. Can we understand the heart of the owner? The owner of mankind, the Lord, grieve when the Ninevieh lost. Can we understand His heart when we see some many people die without the Gospel?
