Why did God wait so long to rescue His people? Maybe because He is waiting for a person He can used. By the time God called Moses, he was 80 years old (Acts 7:23, 30). Moses had changed from a man of “I can” to a man of “I can’t.” Only when we humble ourselves and not rely on our own strength in God’s ministry, God then can use us. And it took God forty years to make this change in Moses.
