Very few people can see God. The seventy elders can only see what is under God’s feet (24:10). Moses is the only one can come close to God but not even Moses can see God face to face. The whole tabernacle is a place that God dwells (25:8) but people cannot fellowship with God without the aid of the priests.
But after Jesus came, we are now able to come to God face to face. Rom 5:2 said, “Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand.” And now 2Co 3:18 said, “And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.” Let us come to God and behold His glory more often.
