God allows difficulties in our lives to test our faith. Exo 15:25-26, “There the LORD made for them a statute and a rule, and there he tested them, saying, "If you will diligently listen to the voice of the LORD your God, and do that which is right in his eyes, and give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, your healer."” All the trials that Israel faces are real and painful. Imagine yourself walking under 100 F without water for 3 days. However, even in this live and death situation, our job is to trust God because He cares for us. Remember Jas 1:2-4 “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, (3) for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. (4) And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”
