Abraham had a deep influence in Isaac’s life such that Isaac shared many similarities with his father. On the good side, Isaac liked his father will obey God in many situations. He stayed in Canaan because God did not allow him to go to Egypt. Also, Isaac was as gentle as his father. When people took his wells, he will yield his right instead of fighting with them. However, Isaac like his father lied about his marriage for his own safety. And unlike his father, he let his son Esau to marry a Hittite woman which cause them lots of bitterness.
Our daily decision affects not only ourselves but may influence the next generation.
