In chapter 10, 70 nations has been recorded. The whole mankind spreads and covers the whole earth. Chapter 11 tells us why this happen. The tower of Babel is a symbol of self-centerness – “let us make a name for ourselves.” Is this you motivation behind all your work?
Among all the people of the earth, God had been waiting for a person to be His tool to bless this world. After waiting from 10 generation from Shem to Abram, God finally found a person He can use – Abram. The rest of the Old Testament is all about this person and his offspring.
