2 Thess 3

When the church learned about the coming of the Lord, some of them decided to “walk in idleness, not busy at work, but busybodies.” Those Thessalonians had the correct doctrine but they didn’t have the correct practice. Instead of ceasing every opportunity to do God’s work because Christ was coming soon, they would do nothing but idle. Paul warned them to do not associate with those people. That means the church would discipline them.

Incorrect doctrine will result in incorrect behavior. But sometimes, correct doctrine can lead to incorrect behavior. A mature Christian needs to strife for correct doctrine (orthodoxy) and also strife for correct behavior (orthopracy).
