Verse 11-12 is a short summary of our spiritual growth. Our goal is to be “worthy of his calling.” Within every Christian, God put “resolve for good” in our heart and those desires will manifest into work. But they are not work by our own effort but “work of faith by his power.” As a result, there is a tight fellowship between the Lord and us that “our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him.”
