Gal 4

Judaizers are trying to “put new wine into old wineskins.” They want to combine justification by faith with the Old Testament Law. But, Paul tells us we are now in a new era or a new dispensation. (Dispensation is a theological term which means “a distinguishable, managerial arrangement designed to establish divine order on earth, progressively revealed by God for the outworking of his purpose and his glory within history.”)

The dispensation of Law has been passed and we are now in the dispensation of grace. Law and grace cannot coexist (vv. 21-31).

Last night I met a missionary couple who came back to the State. One of the discussion falls on the Bible some one translated for the Islam. The translator avoid the word, "children," because the Islam thinks it is unbelievable for God to have children, that is, God will uses a woman body to have children. In Gal. 4:4 Paul clearly states that Jesus is born of a woman. I think God who does not despise on woman. We can be the tool in His hand, even the Savior is born of a woman. We are all precious in His eye.
