Acts 20-21

My sharing: We all want to be influential like Paul. But are you able to drink the cup that Paul drank? Paul taught the whole will of God to the church. He brought the gift from the Gentile churches to Jerusalem to show their love. (You can find out the background info in Romans and 1 Cor). May we be faithful in what we are doing now.

I follow the theme from yesterday: the benefit of hardship. Look at Paul, if it is not being the prisoner of the Roman government he would not have the chance to testify before the Jews, the official and finally to Caesar. The Jews want to kills him right the way, but the Romans rescue him 21:31 and gives him a chance to speak to them 21:40. Again after the preaching they dare to kill him but the official rescue him 22:22-24. Plus, Paul has multiple chances to testify in the repeated trials (ch23, 24, 26). Do not be afraid of the difficulties that God gave us, they may be chances God gave you to testify.
