The new Israel nations will be (1) a united nation 27:15-23, (2) a political nation (with a king) v.24a, (3) a spiritual nation v.24b, (4) a geographical nation v.25, (5) a etenral nation v.25b-28. Why a nation under captured in Babylon will have these hopes? Verse 23 and v.27 repeats the theme. They will have a new contract, or covenant with God. God is the one who makes all these possible again. A dead person cannot contribute anything to all these blessings. Men is passive in the receiving. It is all God's grace!
