The problem of all the nations mentioned in ch 25-28 is their despise of Israel when it fells (25:3, 8,12, 15, 26:2, 28:24). Israel is punished by God and they suffer severely. However, that is not the chance for the neighbours to laugh at them. I should be careful. When I see others being punished by God, I should not happy about it. Probably the sinning Christian has a lot of bad things done, or even done to me personally. That is not the time to laugh, but to apathy. In 28:11-16, other Christians have noticed that no human being can match that describe. It is probably a description of Satan in its beginning.
