Hab 1-3
This book contracts what the prophet thinks is right and what God really going to do. The prophet does not understand why God will use the unrighteous Babylon to punish Israel (ch 1). God told him in chapter 2 that He will punish the Babylonians later. In 3:16-19, the prophet knows his "complain" does not work. He know the Babylon is coming. However, he does not have any negative feeling or reaction to God. Instead, he says he will rejoice in the Lord. These 2 days, Mike and I both caught a very bad cold. We both prayed that God will take it away very soon, so that we can go on to our trip. However, things does not happen this way. Shall we rejoice even in the midst of the difficult time. Yes, we are sick but we can still rejoice in the Lord. Because He is my strength!
