Micah 5-6
The unrighteounesness of man and the the mercy of God is a big contrast in ch 5 and 6. How can a nation so unrighteous be restored again (6:14-17)? In 6:18-21 is the climax of this passage. Noone will be mercy as our God. He forgives sin (v.18), put our sins under the feet (v.19b) and put it in the deep sea (v.19c). He keeps His promise to Israel and Abraham. His promise to thme is unconditional. Even their descendents do not follow God, but God still keep His promise and forgive their sin. He is a faithful God!
