Amo 1-2
The nations are judged with reasons. Most of them are said to sin multiple times (1:3,6,9,11,13; 2:1,4,6). Do we sin multiple times and not repent? God gives us chances to repent when we sin, but when we ignore Him. Now the judgment comes when we sin multiple times. The rest of the nations sin when offending Israel. For Judah and Israel (2:4-8) they sin when they offend God. How? They rely on physical strength (2:9-16) than spiritual strength. Do we do the same when we think the world can help us better than God? We think our unsaved friend can help us "success" better than God?
