Hos 11-14
On the one hand, this passage shows the rebellion of Israel. On the other hand, I see the mercy of God. In 11:2, and 7, God sends the prophets to call them. Nobody repond. Moreoever, they go the opposite direction. They worship the idols. Even they do all that, God says, "How can I give you up? (v.8)" Looking at the history of Israel, they have a lot of tough times. God uses the enemies to give them many lessons. However, what is behind all these hard times. God's mercy. If God gives us up we probably will not have any "lessons" in our lives. Do not waste our tough time, turn back to God. His love stands forever.
